What we collect and who sees it
Short version
- 1We keep what you type in: your profile, your idea, your votes. The event is free, so there is no payment data at all.
- 2Organizers see it. Other participants see your name, school and idea, never your email.
- 3Dietary needs are deleted after the event.
- 4The event is photographed. Wear the no-photo sticker if you would rather not be.
What we collect
Name, email, school and program when you register; the track you are interested in; the idea, skills, links and "looking for" line you choose to add; your votes; a hashed 4-digit PIN (we cannot read it back); your check-in time; your dietary needs; your survey answers; and whether you opted in to the Hult Founders Club mailing list. The pilot is free, so we never ask for or store any payment details.
Who sees it
Organizers from Hult Founders Club and GDG on Campus at Hult see registrations to run the event. Other participants see your name, school and idea on the ballot and on team pages, and only the links and lines you entered. Your email, PIN and dietary needs are never shown to other participants.
Votes are counted, not shown: nobody sees who voted for what, and totals stay hidden until results are published. Judges see team submissions. Partners receive aggregate numbers, not your personal data, unless you hand them your contact yourself.
Dietary needs
We collect dietary needs only to order food. They are deleted within a week after the event.
Emails
We email you about this event: your confirmation, when voting opens, results, a reminder before the day, and a short survey after. If you ticked the box, the club may also write about its own events. Every email tells you how to stop, and you can cancel your registration from the app at any time.
Photos and video
The event is photographed and filmed for the clubs' and partners' social channels and reports. If you do not want to appear, tell the check-in desk and wear the no-photo sticker; we will do our best, but wide shots of the room may still include you.
Analytics and cookies
The site sets a cookie only when you log in to the app or the organizer panel. Nothing is tracked across sites.
